Lately thereâ??s been a bit of a new kid on the scene called <a href="http://www.puredata.info">PureData</a> &#8211; or Pd &#8211;  which seems to be Maxâ??s open source younger brother, as itâ??s <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pure_Data">created by the same father</a>.</p>
